About Dream Street

It’s difficult to say “third time’s the charm” when the first two editions of Dream Street were so, well, charming.

Kicking Things Off with Dream Home

Beginning in 2000, with the construction of a Mediterranean-styled villa in Fort Worth’s Mira Vista, Fort Worth Magazine has taken readers on a journey through two dozen Dream Homes spanning the latest in design and fashion – from Mediterranean to today’s transitional, modern, and contemporary architecture.

The magazine teams with luxury builders and the finest subcontractors to build and market the Dream Home, and, at the finale, A Wish with Wings, a charity that grants wishes to terminally or chronically ill children, benefits through the sale of tickets to a month of public tours. The Dream Home, and the work of our builder and subcontractors, will be on display during the tours and editorial coverage in the October issue of our Fort Worth Home Magazine.

Fort Worth Magazine, its builders, and subcontractors have built Dream Homes across the region. Neighborhoods and developments that are home to Dream Homes include Mira Vista; River Crest; Montserrat; Westover Hills; Colonial; Riverhills; Clariden Ranch; Carilon; and Palomar in Southlake; Entrada in Keller; Granada in Westlake; La Cantera in Benbrook; Oakleigh in Colleyville; and, most recently, Walsh.

The Introduction of Dream Street

In 2020, we upped the ante by increasing the number of Dream Homes to three with the creation of our first Dream Street project in Southlake and, in 2022, we carried out a successful Dream Street sequel with three homes built in the new Montrachet development in West Fort Worth.

This year, we are continuing the tradition with our third Dream Street, which includes the construction of three luxury homes in the Oak Alley neighborhood in Colleyville.

This Year’s Team

We have assembled an amazing team of builders and interior designers which include John Webb of Heritage Homes, Nick Smith of Kensington Custom Homes, Brian Demma of Brian Michael Distinctive Homes, Susan Semmelmann of Susan Semmelmann Interiors, Traci Darden of Elements of Design, and Heritage Interiors. They are bringing the latest in design trends and innovation to these three majestic homes.

What was already one of the magazine’s premiere annual events will once again triple in size, work, and prestige.

Since 2013, the magazine has donated more than $120,000 to A Wish with Wings through tours of the Dream Home.

Please join A Wish with Wings, us, our builders, and a select team of subcontractors this October at the Fort Worth Magazine Dream Street in Colleyville.
