On the west side of Fort Worth, the 2025 Dream Home interior, designed by Susan Semmelmann of Semmelmann Interiors, offers a fresh take on wine country elegance. Inspired by “A Taste of Napa,” the design weaves together earthy textures, warm palettes, and rich colors — Merlot, Cabernet, Chardonnay, and Champagne — that evoke the feeling of a vineyard retreat.
Semmelmann says her goal was to blend innovation with nature. “We wanted to bring innovation where it embraced nature with elegance and a grounded, elevated look.” Natural elements like stone and wood merge with cozy sophistication, creating a connection between the indoors and outdoors that invites comfort and relaxation.
More than just a showcase for design, the Dream Home supports A Wish with Wings, a nonprofit that grants wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses. Semmelmann’s involvement is deeply personal — her family’s experience with her husband’s bone cancer inspired her commitment to the cause.
“The spirit of living is in the giving,” she says. “We truly love rallying around these incredible children and bringing hope to them and their families.”
The Dream Home offers visitors not only a glimpse into luxurious living but also a reminder of the power of community and generosity, all set against a backdrop inspired by Napa Valley’s warmth and charm.
